Requests for Proposals—Lot 17 Shadyside Drive

 The Sanitary District owns Lot 17 on Shadyside Dr.  This lot was gifted to the Town of Pleasant Springs by the Quam family for lake access for their subdivision.  In the early 1990’s the Town sold the lot to the Sanitary District for $1.00.  There is lake access over the entirety of the lot for eighteen parcels as well as easements for existing sewer mains.  The District is open to selling it, leasing it, creating a park, etc.  As owners of the lot, the District will not allow these easement holders to build any structures or put in a pier on this lot.  The Commission has offered the lot to the Pleasant Springs Parks Commission, Dane County Parks, the Bryant Foundation, and FOLKS; all have declined.  The Commission is hoping the lot will be maintained for the public’s benefit and easement holders, and will be requesting your input.
